Check Out a First Look at the Nike Kobe 3 Protro Dropping for the Fall

The Nike Kobe 3 has been Nike’s Protro of choice for much of 2026, with NCAA colorways, a diamond-encrusted pair for Vanessa Bryant, and plenty of retail drops. While NBA and WNBA hoopers might prefer the Kobe 5 and Kobe 6, the Kobe 3 Protro push has resulted in a great run of in-line pairs, low-tops, and PEs.

Killer Whale Kobes

The Nike Kobe 3 Protro Orca brings back an OG colorway of the silhouette with Protro details. After getting word that the black and white Orca pair would be returning for a Protro run last fall, we’ve finally got a leaked preview of the new pair.

Featuring plush black leather on the toebox and the heel, the rest of the upper keeps the same pitch-black shade on the breathable basketball net side panel structure. The black midsole adds more net graphics to match the upper, with white branding on the Swooshes striking across the heel and the Kobe sheath logo on the tongue to complete the killer whale look.

Nike Kobe 3 Protro Orca Release Details
