The NCAA basketball season is heating up, and the LSU Tigers women’s hoops team is on a roll, with an undefeated 12-0 start, putting them in the 5th spot in the national rankings. That place in the standings must have caught the eye of Vanessa Bryant, because the Lady Tigers popped up on Instagram with a three-pack of Nike Kobe 5 Protro PEs.

At the end of the surprise sneaker reveal video, the team joins together to thank Vanessa Bryant for sending the pairs. LSU is the fourth college team to show off pairs of PE Kobe 5 Protros this season, joining Duke, USC, and Kentucky at the top of the Black Mamba seeding list.
The Nike Kobe 5 Protro LSU PEs won’t be available to the general public, so don’t even think about it. However, you can look forward to a few different Kobe 5s in 2026.
