For the latest LeBron 23 colorway, Nike is calling back to the 2014 season, in the middle of the Heatles run, when LeBron joined the NBA’s incognito cadre in a carbon fiber mask.

Taking cues from the recent Nike LeBron 23 Duke PE, the Masked Menace colorway adds black carbon fiber armor to the bottom half of the upper on the crown-shaped stabilization paneling. The rest of the shoe is coated in thick black mesh for a bit of lightweight breathability. A black mask graphic is added to the heel of each shoe, with a matching mini mask accessory added in with every pair.
