Philly is entering the new NBA season with high expectations, and after spoiling the Knicks’ championship celebration on Tuesday in LeBron and Jaylen Brown’s first game in Sixers uniforms, things are already looking up. At the same time, Philly’s four signature sneaker stars have turned the City of Brotherly Love into a mecca for early drops and exclusive activations.
The King is Home in Philly
After New Balance debuted Tyrese Maxey’s first signature sneaker at an event in North Philly last month, Nike and LeBron are heading downtown to do the same for the King’s 24th signature silhouette. Arriving in early previews ahead of the 76ers season opener at Madison Square Garden, the new pop-up will open to the public today and tomorrow before the home opener on Thursday.
