Last year was A’ja Wilson's for the taking. The WNBA superstar walked off after the season with another MVP, a Finals MVP, her third ring, a DPOY award, and, in our industry of focus, a signature shoe that became an instant hit. In the lead-up to the WNBA season (which at this point is looking like it will be delayed), Wilson has been teasing her follow-up sneaker, the Nike A’Two, via Instagram and just yesterday showed off an update to her signature logo. Now, as A’ja’s European tour commences, Nike has officially unveiled her Nike A’Two sneaker.
Developed over the last 18 months, the Nike A’Two is a massive upgrade to Wilson’s signature sneaker. The original A’One featured a breathable mesh upper, but the A’Two enhances this with a synthetic molded leather that rests above a mesh lining. Of course, the pearl motif from her first sneaker continues here, with the molded upper featuring a wavy “layered” look. Not only does this call back to the pearl necklace Wilson’s grandma gifted her as a child, but it adds stability, lockdown control, and a personalized fit over time. As a nod to A’ja Wilson’s star power and her star logo, an embroidered star surrounds the toebox.

“The A’One was a journey — a real blessing,” says A’ja. “It did exactly what it was meant to do and put people on notice. The A’Two is a level up of that strong foundation. It’s bigger, bolder and even more me. I poured my whole heart into the shoe and the collection — creating something that everyone can continue to feel a part of, from the girlies to the kids to the fellas.”
We’ve talked about the upper, but let's delve into the tooling of the A’Two. On Wilson’s first sneaker, Nike employed a full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam, but the A’Two adds on to this by also placing an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot for extra responsiveness. A midfoot shank has now been added to help control torsional movement, with the heel clip being upgraded for extra reinforcement in the back.
To go alongside the sneaker, A’ja also developed a new set of apparel across a seven-piece collection for adults and kids. This includes her signature asymmetrical leg sleeve, which features her signature logo. There’s also a long-sleeve top, her signature hoodie with a sateen-lined hood, shorts, and a tank top.
“My brand and the A’Two are a way for me to connect with the next generation and inspire them to believe in who they are,” says A’ja. “I want kids to feel confident, bold and proud when they lace up, like the star of their own show. I’m here because of the people who poured into me, and it means everything to return that same energy to the ones coming up next.”
The Nike A’Two will debut on May 2, 2026 in the A’Pink colorway. Additional pairs, including the Still Loading and Gold Standard, will release at a later date. Retail for the standard A’Two is set at $145 in unisex sizing and $112 for GS. The limited Gold Standard pair, which features a snakeskin material on the upper, retails for $170.
