Speed, Comfort, and Style: Nike Debuts the Pegasus Plus 2

We may be in a new heyday of running shoes and brands, but speed is nothing new for Nike. The brand was basically founded on the track of the University of Oregon, and running shoes have always been at the heart of The Swoosh’s DNA. At the heart of Nike’s running catalog, the Pegasus line is a staple, constantly evolving to meet the moment and set new PRs.

Nike is Spreading New Pegasus Wings

The Nike Pegasus Plus 2 is the latest addition to the Nike Running line, debuting in a bright red shade that lets the tech shine through. Featuring a visible curved Zoom Air bubble in the forefoot and a full stack of ZoomX foam in the back half of the midsole. A thin, perforated mesh upper adds a light, breathable structure on top of the soft cushioned sole.

“Our goal was simple: speed without sacrifice,” says Deepa Ramprasad, senior director, Nike Running footwear. “We spent years obsessing over every ingredient in this system. Nothing more and nothing less than what a runner needs to feel fast, comfortable, and confident to push their pace. This is a revolution for the Pegasus franchise, bringing inspiration from race-day sensation into a daily trainer.”

Nike Pegasus Plus 2 Debut Details
