We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Ja Morant is for the kids. Sure, there’s the strip club mayhem and the gun charges, but lately, Morant has brought his softer side to the surface as he embraces the Pacific Northwest and its boundless outdoor activities. He’s also a youth mentor for his Twelve Time AAU team, dropping a wide-ranging pack of Team Bank Ja 3 colorways, and now, a takedown signature model for price-conscious parents.

It’s Time for Twelve

The Nike Twelve Time is Ja Morant’s first price-conscious signature model, straying away from the pricier Ja 3 and upcoming Ja 4 with a silhouette that clocks in under $100 in adult sizes and even less in youth pairs. The shoe debuted on Ja’s feet during a recent practice, so you know he’s not skimping on the quality, either. Now, with the takedown model set to drop soon, we got our hands on some previews of the pair.

More black moves up the tongue, on the laces, and onto the sockliner to round out the two-tone mix.

Nike Twelve Time Release Details

The Nike Twelve Time will be released September 4, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at just $90 for adult colorways, $85 for grade school sizes, and $75 for pre-school pairs.
