Nike’s Latest College Football Cleat PE is a Vapor Edge Dunk for the Oregon Ducks

Is Nike bringing the Dunk back on board the heavy rotation and hype circuit? After years of focus on the Air Max 95, Nike Basketball retros, and of course, the recent Air Force 1 push, Nike is bringing the Dunk back to prominence at its favorite place to experiment: The University of Oregon.

Duck Dunks

Following pairs of Vaporposite PE cleats for schools across Nike’s NCAA program, the latest box delivered to the Athletic Department in Eugene adds Oregon graphics laser-etched on top of a white leather base with metallic silver spikes and a green metallic Swoosh. The PE pair is the latest from a retro laser collection that has etched graphics into Jordans, SB Air Force 1s, and a LeBron 23.

The Vapor Edge Dunk Cleat PE adds every Duck mascot graphic imaginable in the lasered panels, with a Eugene, OR hit, flying duck and diamond plate details, along with sayings like “don’t mess with a Duck” and “Fighting Ducks.” The metallic green Swoosh with yellow stitching matches more green and yellow on the tongue tag for some school colors.
