OG Anunoby Skechers Signature Sneaker

It’s been a wild weekend if you live in NYC. The Knicks won the NBA Finals in five games, the Puerto Rican Day Parade took over the city, and the hangover from the celebrations around the 53-year championship drought being snapped for the Knickerbockers is far from over. The reason the Knicks were able to close out the series as quickly as they did was OG Anunoby, whose last-second tip-in to take the lead in Game 4 sent them to San Antonio up 3-1. His performance in the playoffs may have just been the tipping point for him to get his own signature sneaker with Skechers, as brand president Michael Greenberg has confirmed OG’s shoe is in the works.

“Skechers Basketball has been on the court for three seasons with a roster of players in the league – including superstar OG Anunoby,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers.

“OG embodies the spirit of not only Skechers Performance but the entire philosophy of Skechers as The Comfort Technology Company. It’s too early to share specific details, but we do have a signature shoe in the works. Anyone, anywhere who wants to play like OG knows they need Comfort that Performs.”

OG Anunoby’s History with Skechers

OG not only had one of the greatest playoff moments in New York Knicks history but he did so in a PE colorway of the Skechers SKX Nexus. Before this series, the brand had never seen the floor of an NBA Finals. Anunoby first signed with Skechers in July 2025, but even months before officially joining the brand, he was testing the waters. Starting in February 2025, OG was exclusively wearing Skechers, and his posterizing dunk over Derrick White in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals last season was in a pair of Skechers SKX Reign.

Things really ramped up during this postseason for OG and Skechers when Martha Stewart posted a photo of Anunoby rocking the SKX Nexus in the Euro PE colorway, and soon after, OG sent her a signed pair of the exclusive kicks. Then, Skechers unveiled his SKX Reign Foreman PE, playing into the Knicks’ tradition of gifting the defensive player of the game a special pair of Timberland boots. OG took the court in a Knicks-themed colorway, which he wore during his iconic tip-in moment, and finally, he and the Knicks secured the championship while he rocked a yellow colorway of the SKX Nexus.

When is OG Anunoby’s Shoe Releasing?

As of now, we’re still waiting on word for when exactly OG’s signature model is expected to hit shelves. Since it appears that Skechers is in the early stages of developing the shoe, it’s likely we will see the model in 2027 or even possibly 2028. This will also mark the second signature athlete for Skechers Basketball, with Joel Embiid leading the charge for the brand with his Skechers SKX JE 1, which hit shelves in December 2025.
