The mythical Off-White Air Jordan 1 High OG in the Euro-exclusive White colorway is finally making a return, though not exactly in 1:1 fashion. Nike has moved on from its partnership with Off-White, just as Virgil Abloh’s estate has, which means this new release removes any mention of the high-fashion label in favor of the newly established Virgil Abloh Archives. The first drop of the VAA x Air Jordan 1 High Alaska took place in Los Angeles last weekend, but our friends across the pond in Europe are getting a shot at copping before the wider release on April 3, starting with Pablo T-Shirt Factory.
The garment factory, retail storefront, and fashion label is hosting a pop-up on Saturday, March 21, 2026. However, it’s not your standard first-come-first-served release or even a raffle with a pick-up window. Instead, Pablo T-Shirt Factory is having Parisians and any of those making the pilgrimage to the City of Lights camp out for the pair.
Camping opened at 12 PM local time on March 19, and the final call will take place at 10:00 AM on March 21, meaning you’ll have to camp out for 46 hours. Each “camper” will receive a unique number and a wristband, with roll calls conducted randomly over the next two days. When a roll call takes place, camper numbers are announced and those called on must respond that they are present.
It’s still unclear exactly how the release is going to work. Does this reserve your spot in line, meaning, theoretically, you can just hang around the area and state your present even if you’re not “in line?” Is your number essentially like a raffle ticket and they’ll draw the numbers once the camp out period is over? Or are the random roll calls opportunities for you to purchase, so you’re forced to stay and hope you get picked over the coming 46 hours? We’ll have to wait and see.
If you’re free for the next two days and in the area, getting in line now may be a bit of a long-shot, but you’re bound to have some interesting interactions with sneakerheads. Isn’t it great to actually get back out and meet people instead of sitting behind a screen trying to cop? While most of us won’t have the opportunity like those in Paris do, the global launch of the Virgil Abloh Archives Air Jordan 1 High Alaska takes place on April 3. There are also bound to be a few more pop-ups across the globe.
