Paura Gives Its New Vans Collab Airbrushed Checkerboards and Punk Piercings

Jewelry means different things to different people and subcultures. So while the luxury streetwear crew looks at Vans’ latest OTW offerings and clutches their pearls at the idea of scuffing the pre-distressed pairs with kickflips, Italian label Paura sees an opportunity to jump into the pit and start throwing spin kicks and windmills.

Every Shoe Deserves an Eyebrow Piercing

The Paura x Vans Authentic Collection features two pairs of the classic skate shoe that keep up with Vans’ recent jewelry theme with a hardcore twist. Looping bars and bull rings through the hangtags and laces, the jewelry serves as facial piercings for the hand-crafted pairs.

Arriving in two colorways, black and white and green and cream, the shoes feature an airbrushed checkerboard diamond pattern that covers the entire upper. On both pairs, the cream-colored insole gets a co-branded Paura stamp to solidify the collab.

Paura x Vans Authentic Collection Release Details
