Post Archive Faction x Clarks Originals Wallabee

We are living through the golden age of designer sneakers. No, not the Balenciaga Triple-S version of designer, but an evolution of the lane that has seen fashion labels collaborate with major shoe brands. Likewise, shoe brands have turned over their design departments to outside influences, allowing for embellished, adjusted, and all-around new silhouettes. After 200 years of classics, Clarks is still pushing itself, and the latest Wallabee collab comes with a new sole.

Courtesy of Korean design collective Post Archive Faction (PAF), the PAF x Clarks Originals Wallabee takes a traditional suede Wallabee upper, adds extra stitching to change the aesthetic, and a Vibram sole to bolster the shoe’s outdoor function. Debuting in three monochrome colorways, grey, black, and tan, the mid-top Wallys feature extra stitching curved around the lateral side and heel panels, and across the upper on the medial side, and replace the classic crepe sole with a hiking outsole used on outdoor Clarks models.

PAF has brought its minimalist, tech-focused design mentality to the sneaker world before, dropping three different collections of mostly monochrome running shoes with On Running, including a custom version of the Cloudmonster that takes a similar form as the Clarks collab, mixing mismatched uppers and soles from the brand’s archive.

The PAF x Clarks Originals Wallabee collection will be released October 16, 2025 through Post Archive Faction, Clarks, and select retailers in-store and online.
