Tyrese Haliburton’s Latest Puma Hali 1 PE is a Tribute to His College Days at Iowa State

Tyrese Haliburton had a triumphant return to the NBA court last week, opening the Indiana Pacers’ preseason campaign with an exhibition game against the Timberwolves on campus at Haliburton’s alma mater, Iowa State.

Hali Heads Home

While Haliburton sang Mr. Brightside from the bench with the Iowa State student section, the Pacers superstar repped his squad with a new college-themed colorway of his Puma Hali 1 signature shoe, covering the silhouette in a Hilton Coliseum-friendly mix of maroon and gold. After sitting out all of last year to recover from an Achilles injury, Haliburton is in high spirits heading into the new season.

Featuring a monochrome burgundy upper that changes tones slightly on the mesh and TPU paneling, a brighter shade of red pops on the midsole. Iowa State’s secondary golden shade is added to the Puma Big Cat logo on the ankle collar, Hali’s 22 PE tongue logo, and his Puma signature logo drawn by Salehe Bembury on the heel.
