LaMelo Ball is heading to the island sun for a last gasp of offseason fun before he joins the Minnesota Timberwolves for a cold winter, but he’s not just going for a good time. Ball’s Puerto Rico trip is a business trip with Puma to roll out his sixth signature silhouette with the Big Cat, debuting the MB.06 in a Puerto Rico colorway.
Puerto Rico to Minneapolis
The Puma MB.06 Puerto Rico arrived on our radar in a quick preview earlier this month, with ‘Melo showing off the new silhouette while wearing a grey colorway of the upcoming model. Now, with the release scheduled soon, Ball and Puma are bringing the colorway to PR for Jangueo en Bayamón, a LaMelo-hosted event celebrating community, culture, and hoops.
Alongside the celebration, Ball and Puma are dropping early pairs of the Puerto Rico MB.06 colorway. In addition to the on-court MB.06, the Puerto Rico-themed collection will release alongside a LaFrance lifestyle silhouette that also includes PR flags and a mix of blue, red, and white.
Puma MB.06 Puerto Rico Release Details
The Puma MB.06 Puerto Rico debut event will take place in Bayamón, Puerto Rico on July 31, 2026, with pairs of the LaMelo PR sneaker collection available for sale onsite. Puma’s three outlets in PR will also have pairs available, but the rest of the globe will have a shot at owning the colorway in September.
