Running Store Renegade is Getting its Own Nike Vaporfly 4 and Vomero Premium

Outside collaborators are extremely common in the lifestyle footwear space for Nike, but not so much in the performance running category. Sure, there are plenty of examples of partners coming in to bring their twist to Nike running silhouettes, or even Nike-sponsored athletes getting collections of running shoes, but it’s rare. What’s never happened before, until now, is a specialty running store getting its own Nike collection of runners. Now, thanks to Renegade, that’s about to change.
Founded in Oakland, California, in June 2020, Renegade Running has been building an inclusive running community for the city and surrounding area over the last six years. The specialty store carries niche and independent labels that have yet to crack the mainstream, but of course, it still offers up the very best from the big dogs like Nike. As for the brand’s upcoming Nike footwear collab, Renegade will be getting its own colorway of the Vaporfly 4 and Vomero Premium.
As of this writing, no images of either sneaker are available. However, ahead of the sneaker project, Renegade is launching a Nike ReCreate collab. The capsule is launching on March 6, 2026 at Renegade’s LA location and on the 12th at its Oakland storefront. Founder Victor Diaz created eight different apparel items using locally sourced vintage materials and deadstock items for one-of-a-kind designs. Check here for more info on the release.
The Renegade x Nike Running Collection will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $280 for the Vaporfly 4 and $240 for the Vomero Premium.
