Sneaker brands are taking over Paris. Fashion Week is here, and the sportswear brands are showing out in force. At Saucony, the refreshed running brand is bringing back one of its mid-aughts classics and picked the annual French fashion celebration as the perfect spot for a retro debut.

The Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 is the latest mesh and synthetic runner with roots firmly planted in fashion’s 20-year cycle to get the retro treatment. Remade for the new era, the ProGrid Ride 1 features a hexagonal open mesh upper, light-refracting metallic overlays, and a webbed-shank cage design. Debuting this month in Buttercup, the silhouette will add neutral and colorful pairs over the next few months as it reintegrates into the Saucony lifestyle line.

Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 Retro Release Details
The first retro of the Saucony ProGrid Ride 1 will debut June 26, 2026 in the Buttercup colorway through Saucony and select retailers in-store and online.
