Slawn and Nike Celebrate the World Cup with a Nigeria Capsule Collection

The World Cup is bringing collaborators from across the globe to the forefront of the sneaker industry, with brands like Patta repping the Netherlands, Thrasher Magazine taking up for Argentina, just like Kith and Messi, and BAPE bringing out retro USA jerseys. The latest nation-themed collab pack ahead of the Cup comes from Nike and Nigerian artist Slawn, who brings his green and white pride into every piece.

Slawn Brings His Latest Collab Home to Nigeria

Teaming up with the Nigerian Football Federation, a new Instagram post gives us an introductory preview of the Slawn x Nigeria x Nike collection, complete with track suits, hoodies, “Naija” jerseys, and a black and white all-over print Slawn Cryoshot sneaker with football cleats hidden inside a clear street-ready sole.

On the clothing capsule, a gradient mix of white, green, and black gives the pieces a striking, attention-grabbing mix with all-over print leaf drawings added to the best of the bunch, and Nigeria Football Federation patches opposite Slawn x Nike signature branding. We’re still waiting on detailed images and information about the Cryoshot pair, which should be arriving soon.

The Slawn x Nigeria Football Federation x Nike Collection doesn’t have an exact release date or retail prices yet, but in the preview post on IG, Nike noted that the pack would be arriving at select retailers and SNKRS this summer.
