After a seven month sneaker free agency, which included dozens of new sneakers worn on court, an auction that generated $1.7 million for charity, and Under Armour’s reputation taking a bit of a hit, Steph Curry finally announced he had signed a new sneaker deal. He brought his Curry Brand to Li-Ning, which is allowing Steph full creative control, the ability to sign athletes under his brand, and even a full golf line of footwear and apparel. No sneakers have been seen just yet, but we did get a first glimpse at the newly designed Curry Brand logo for Li-Ning.
Curry Brand’s New Logo Design

Curry Brand’s original logo, which is owned by Steph Curry’s SC30 company, has been in use on Under Armour shoes and apparel since its introduction in 2020. It’s a clever combo that represents Curry’s iconic three-pointing fingers, his initials “SC,” and a halo above the design that nods to Curry’s faith and his overall presence in the game. But with the switch to Li-Ning, Curry thought it best to make some changes. Yet, even though there is a technical change to the logo, it’s not radical by any means.
The new Curry Brand logo for Li-Ning subtly combines the Li-Ning and “Splash” logos. The two-pronged Li-Ning mark shifts up to the high wing in the Splash emblem, looking almost like an apostrophe.
What’s Next for Curry Brand and Li-Ning
Now that the two have a new logo together, all that’s left is to drop some sneakers featuring the mark. There’s no timeline just yet on when Curry’s first signature sneaker with Li-Ning will arrive, but the NBA season starts in October. The two haven’t been in business long enough to fully develop a brand-new sneaker, so it’s likely that Curry wears in-line product in player-exclusive colorways at first.
