Studio Nicholson is what you might call quiet luxury. The London-based high fashion label is known for its quality, minimalist designs that take inspiration from Japanese style. On its latest sneaker collab, the brand returns to work with Japanese sportswear label Asics for a collection of Asia-exclusive Gel-Kinetic SP pairs with a classy remix.
Zip It Up
The Studio Nicholson x Asics Gel-Kinetic SP Collection arrives in two colorways coated in soft suede, one in rich brown and the other in pitch black. On both pairs, the monochrome dress shoe-style is accented by a zippered closure running down the middle of the tongue with a suede pull tassel that matches the upper color.
Beyond the wing tip cut zipper paneling on either side of the upper, a perforated leather panel arches at the front of the side panels, with more monochrome soft leather added to the ankle collar. Finally, a glossy look is added to the Gel units in the heel for a squishy cushion with a bit of shine.
Studio Nicholson x Asics Gel-Kinetic SP Collection Release Details
The Studio Nicholson x Asics Gel-Kinetic SP Collection will be released June, 12, 2026 in Korea, followed by a drop in Japan and China sometime in July. As of now, there is no US release date scheduled. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices are set at ¥38,500 (approx. $240).
