The Nike GT Future Goes Intergalactic with Galaxy Aura Colorway

The Nike GT Future first made its appearance at last year’s All-Star Weekend and now a full year after Wale wore it, the silhouette is still generating buzz. The silhouette draws from Nike’s Foamposite era, drawing elements from the soon-returning Nike Hyperflight and the Nike Foamposite One.
This year, the sneaker gained the honor of being included in Nike’s Warning Label collection as a part of the All-Star Weekend collection with a prismatic colorway that shines like a rare Pokémon card.
After popping up in mockups and rumor mills last year, another colorway of the buzzing silhouette has surfaced. Thanks to legendary Nike sneaker designer Frank Cooke, we’ve gotten our first look at the Nike GT Future Galaxy Aura sporting an intergalactic colorway.
With a sneaker so heavily inspired by the Foamposite, it's only right that the sneaker puts its own spin on one of the sneaker’s most vaunted colorways. The Nike GT Future Galaxy Aura features a darker shade of blue than its predecessor on the base. Stars appear scattered sparsely across its molded upper.
Where the Nike Foamposite 1 Galaxy seems more of a picture of a populated galaxy, the Nike GT Future looks like a universe coming into existence with an explosion of color rippling from the medial side and around the heel.
Of course, a Galaxy colorway has to come complete with a glow-in-the-dark outsole. The small black Swooshes on the medial and lateral sides nearly blend into the planetary affair.
Though the exact date is currently unknown, the Nike GT Future Galaxy Aura will release Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
