The Whitaker Group, James Whitner’s boutique retail conglomerate with tentacles spread across the American South, has been on a legendary collab run this year, highlighted by a continuing adidas collection titled Do Not Duplicate. In addition to high-concept takes on popular silhouettes like the Evo SL and Powerphase, adidas has allowed Whitner and crew to build their own hybrid silhouettes.

A World Cup Hybrid for the Final Four

The adidas BW Army has been TWG’s silhouette of choice for sanctioned switch-ups. Starting with a puffed-up, suede-detailed BW 00s, The Whitaker Group debuted the BW Run, putting a retro running sole on a BW Army upper. Now, the BW Army upper is back for yet another new sole, this time switching to soccer for the BW Mundial.
