The New York Knicks may have lost their home opener to LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers, but Knicks fans are still riding high on the championship fumes from over the summer. Not only have fans been rabid but footwear brands have gone all-in to celebrate the Knicks’ first championship in 53 years, creating special colorways to honor the franchise. For NYC staple Timberland, their iconic 6-Inch Boot received a Knicks-themed makeover on the same day as the ring ceremony and the raising of the championship banner.
Timberland 6-Inch Boot New York Knicks Details
We’ve seen Timberland pay homage to the Knicks in the past, but this pair is loaded with championship details. Starting with a navy nubuck upper, the pair adds pebbled orange leather to the collar, just like a basketball. Golden lace eyelets host a two-tone blue and orange pair of hiking laces, while the tongue features the New York Knicks logo alongside “2026 NBA Champions New York Knicks” in foil gold.
The lateral side of the right boot features Timberland’s tree logo in gold, while the left pair has the phrase “Once a Knick, always a Knick” in gold. Another golden detail is found on the laces, with a golden hangtag featuring a recreation of the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Finishing the shoe is the blue and gum-brown rubber sole unit.
