Vans Has Travis Shoes, Too

The Travis Barker x Vans Old Skool White was previewed last week on the Vans website, and now, a full press release gives us a detailed look at the colorway, alongside a heartfelt story about Barker’s history with the SoCal skate shoe originators. Just like his first pair of collab Old Skools, the white Travis Barker collab adds the words “Dues” and “Paid” to the toeboxes, with barbed wire graphics circling the midsole.

“My first pair of shoes was a pair of Vans,” says Travis Barker. “Growing up in Fontana, I always connected the brand to skateboarding, BMX, and punk culture. Once I started seeing my idols wearing them too, it really sealed it for me. To me, they were always the coolest shoes. This partnership was an easy call because it’s a brand I’ve genuinely loved and identified with since way, way back.”
