Anthony Van Engelen is one of skateboarding’s most legendary figures. AVE’s First Vans Shoe is Back on Deck

At Vans, AVE is a perfect representation of the brand’s core skating ethos, and as Vans continues to reinvent itself, they’re not forgetting the classics. Teaming up with Van Engelen and his board brand Hockey, Vans is bringing back AVE’s first Vans signature shoe, the AVE Classic.

The Sk8-Hi-style stitched toebox and toeside bumpers look just like the OG, with a Hockey graphic logo on the tongue in black and red to bring some modern energy to the retro silhouette.
