Saucony and Westside Gunn Brought Upcoming Animal Print Grid Jazz 9 Collab to Paris Fashion Week

Westside Gunn might be the architect of this new Saucony collab colorway, but to us, it looks like a pair straight out of Riff Raff’s closet. After getting a preview of the animal print and iridescent rainbow colorway on Gunn’s IG page earlier this month, the collab showed up on display at Paris Fashion Week for a closer look.

We know the new Westide Gunn x Saucony collab is a Grid Jazz 9 at its core, but that’s secondary to the jungle of animal prints on the upper. Starting with brown cow print on the toe bumper to match the side panel, the structural strips turn to leopard print, while zebra is added on the side of the toe, heel, and tongue logo, and horse hair fills in more stabilizing panels.

The toebox adds more cow print in white with two tones of brown spots, and finally, white fur with shades of iridescent splotchy pink, blue, and yellow draws the most attention on the toeside, heel panel, tongue, and the Saucony logo on the side panel. A scorpion hangtag and Griselda hit on the heel bring the collab together for the Buffalo legend.
