World Cup fever is reaching a boiling point. Sportswear brands across the globe have been rolling out collections of sneakers, apparel, and equipment to tie into the world’s largest soccer tournament, but what about our four-legged friends? While dogs and cats obviously can’t partake in the beautiful game, they can still rep one of the many nations playing in the 2026 World Cup. Don’t worry, you don’t have to cut up your jersey to fit Fido or your feline, as adidas is dropping an official pet collection of World Cup jerseys.
Multiple World Cup pet jerseys are loaded up on adidas’ website, including official jerseys for Japan, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, as well as an unofficial nod to the United States. Unfortunately, Nike has the contract with Team USA soccer, so adidas can’t use any actual Team USA branding on its design. The three official designs mirror the ones us humans can rock, so you’ll be able to match your pet 1:1.
The collection marks the first time that adidas is dropping pet clothing in the United States, as its Asian-exclusive collections of pet clothing and accessories have gone mega-viral. The first drop took place in May 2025, with a follow-up collection in October and a Chinese New Year-themed pack a few months ago. Hopefully, adidas expands its offerings in the US and the rest of the globe, though the World Cup tie-in is a great start.
The adidas World Cup Pet Collection will be released on May 1, 2026 via adidas online and in select stores. Retail is set at $35 for each jersey.
