Jordan Release Calendar

The serious running subculture has evolved beyond the footwear category into a full-fledged sector of the streetwear industry, mixing gorpcore’s technical obsession with a sleek style made for speed. One of the most notable brands in the space, Mexico’s Hermanos Koumori, has been mixing fun, aesthetically driven graphics with performance silhouettes to stay strides ahead of the pack. After a debut sneaker collab with adidas last year, the brands are back together for another lap.
The Hermanos Koumori x adidas Adizero Evo SL takes the affordable performance runner inspired by the Evo 1 super shoe and adds subtle earth tones. Featuring a putty grey upper with off-white Three Stripes branding, the star of the shoe is the fig purple accents on the tongue, laces, and technical branding. The stacked LighstrikePro midsole gets more off-white putty color, with fig purple added to the Lightstrike logo.
An H. Koumori logo is added to the tongue stabilizer in white for a bit of co-branding, but that’s it for collab logos. For the brand’s first adidas collab, Hermanos Koumori kept things equally subtle with two pairs of earth-toned Ultraboost 5s, so the refined look was no surprise.
The Hermanos Koumori x adidas Adizero Evo SL is available now through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150. For all the latest adidas running news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
