It’s a well-known fact that swimming and aquatic exercise are great for rehabilitation. We’re not sure if the pool and hot tub are part of Jayson Tatum’s seemingly rapid recovery from his Achilles injury, but the latest colorway of his Jordan Tatum 4 signature shoe is definitely giving us some spa day vibes.
The Jordan Tatum 4 Game Royal blends as many shades and textures of blue as possible from outsole to tongue. The toe features a royal blue patent leather hit, the vamp is dark blue suede, the side panel gets UNC-style light blue with a wavy textured fabric, the rest of the side panel and heel are wide blue mesh, and the lightest blue comes on the heel tab in more patent leather. Bits of white are added on the JT tongue logo and side panel Jumpman branding, with black and blue hiking laces adding some dark contrast.
Tatum’s year hasn’t gone anywhere near expected after last season’s devastating injury left him sidelined from the Celtics’ lineup. But on the signature shoe side of things, Tatum’s fourth Jordan silhouette is still putting in work without its namesake all-star on the court. In addition to a steady stream of new retail colorways, the Tatum 4 has been featured in NCAA PE packs and on the NBA floor with a personalized PE for Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero. Come to think of it, don’t be surprised if you see Banchero pull out this pair, too.
The Jordan Tatum 4 Game Royal will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to keep up with all the latest Jordan Tatum updates.
