Jayson Tatum is a medical marvel. The Boston Celtics all-star was expected to miss the entirety of the upcoming NBA season after a devastating Achilles injury knocked him out of last year’s playoffs. Tatum’s Achilles recovery is not like other recoveries, though, and after only a few months, Jayson is already suiting up his new signature shoe for on-court training sessions. And with the timetable for Tatum’s return moved up, new colorways of his fourth signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Tatum 4, are bringing even more anticipation.
The latest Tatum 4 features a hairy suede upper, giving it an aesthetic that works off the court just as well as it does on the hardwood. Draped in dark grey suede across most of the upper, the wavy lines that separate the panels are black, and the heel panel is grey mesh. Tatum’s JT logo is a steel grey against the shoe’s black tongue, and the side panel Jumpman logo gets a metallic silver treatment. Internally, the sneaker features Cushlon foam and Zoom Air for a stable and bouncy ride on court.
Jordan Tatum 4 Smoke Grey
After debuting in NBA 2K26, the Tatum 4 has been previewed in three colorways, including a Celtics-friendly green, black and red Bloodline pair, and the debut St. Louis tribute. As pre-season games ramp up and the NBA regular season gets ready to tip off, there will no doubt be more colorways of the Tatum 4 and the rest of the league’s signature shoes.
The Jordan Tatum 4 Smoke Grey will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130. For all the latest Jordan drops, make sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
