The basketball shoe promo landscape has completely shifted. Sure, the top-tier NBA players still have their own signature silhouettes, but beyond those players, league staples without deals have tied themselves to overseas brands in record numbers, while NIL has added a whole new crop of sponsored hoopers to the mix. At Nike, the youth is definitely the future, and to debut the latest Kobe 3 Low Protro colorway, the Swoosh decided to lace the next generation of Big Blue.
The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Atomic Pink is the latest from the Droppin’ Gems colorways of the Kobe Protro silhouette. After shipping pairs of a pearlized gem colorway to the Final Four teams to round out tournament season, the Atomic Pink pair popped up first at the Nike Summit on Team USA repper and Michigan commit, Brandon McCoy Jr.

McCoy Jr.’s Atomic Pink pair of Kobe 3 Low Protros features an upper covered in the vibrant pale pink shade from toe to heel, coating the entire netted side panels, tongue, laces, and outsole for a pair that looks like it was dipped in paint.
The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Atomic Pink will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $190. For all the latest Nike Kobe news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
