Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons are one of the heartwarming stories of the NBA this season. After a series of tumultuous years since being drafted at number 1, Cade and the Pistons earned the number-one seed. During that highlight year came Cade’s second All-Star appearance, this time bringing fellow Piston Jalen Duren along for the festivities. At the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in Inglewood, Cunningham debuted a new Nike basketball silhouette, the Nike ST Charge, in an eye-popping red colorway. Now, to celebrate the Pistons’ playoff run, the two-time All-Star is getting his own PE of the rugged outdoor silhouette that encapsulates the grit of the Motor City.
As we wait for Cade to unveil his own Nike signature sneaker, Cunningham is leading the *ahem* charge for the new silhouette with the upcoming Nike ST Charge Cade Cunningham Detroit Tough. This Pistons-flavored colorway perfectly pairs with the team’s classic red, white, and blue color scheme.
The silhouette features a clean white upper comprised of a reinforced mesh. The standout triangular TPU armor stretching from the toebox to the side panel and heel comes in an icy translucent blue that’s as cool as Cunningham operating on the floor. Matching that armored look are blue accents on the sockliner representing Detroit and Cade’s blue-collar toughness.

A red heel tab with Cunningham’s number 2 and red and blue laces adds an additional pop of color. Silver eyelets and matching Swooshes on the TPU midsole shine like the Detroit Players. Cunningham’s star logo, formed by his initials “CC” on the tongue, finalizes the look.
The Nike ST Charge Cade Cunningham Detroit Tough releases May 20, 2026 via Foot Locker. We’re still waiting on word if Nike is dropping the same day, but expect a release via The Swoosh and other retailers eventually. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
