The running industry is having a moment. Sure, the warm weather always brings out the joggers, but this year, the sneaker and streetwear industries have picked up the pace, downloaded Strava, and joined the local run club. From indie brands to hyper-niche running collabs and hardcore-soundtracked races in the desert, it’s time to ditch your golf clubs and road bike and strap on some running shoes.
More Holes Than Shirt
At Nike, The Swoosh’s ACG (All Conditions Gear) program has been reborn with a new focus on the trail. For its latest new product initiative, the ACG team figured out that less is more, with a new tech-forward t-shirt that turns down the heat with a series of holes punched through the fabric and more open space at the body’s natural hinges.

The Nike ACG AirFlow NXT takes the flowy t-shirt idea seen on Satisfy’s Moth Tech gear and adds as many holes as possible, creating a fully perforated long-sleeve running shirt that looks like it features more open space than fabric. Debuting in white, the shirt features a large ACG triangle logo in black on the front, Swooshes on the forearm sleeves, and All Conditions Racing Dept. branding on the back. Adding even more flow, the elbows and armpits are fully opened, bringing even more air into the sleeves.
