After joining Nike’s City Connect MLB collab with a red Air Max 1 colorway earlier in the season, a new pair pays tribute to one of the Cincy team’s greats.

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Cincinnati Reds has been on our radar since February, before the MLB season started, and now, after a full but disappointing 162-game campaign, Griffey’s red retro colorway is finally dropping soon. Before the pair hits retail, though, Nike is giving us a full look at the retro colorway with an official set of images.

Featuring red on the toecap, lace panel, and side panels, the jersey-themed pair brings white leather to the base on either side of the toe, with a black Swoosh striking across the lateral side onto the toe.
