Nike Debuts Three Futuristic New Women’s Silhouettes in First Sight Collection

“How can we make women fall in love with these shoes the first time they see them?”

That was the brief given to the Nike teams in charge of constructing the new First Sight Collection, a pack of three brand-new women’s silhouettes made from the intersection of sport, fashion, and a futuristic vision of femininity. The three new silhouettes, Noir, Mirage, and Shadow, all combine aspects of dress shoes with specific sports influences for a new take on lifestyle footwear.

Noir is a sleek wedge inspired by track sprints. Thinking of the anticipated speed of the starting block, the shoe leans forward to a point, with debut pairs done in monochrome suede with a large Swoosh swooping across the toe.

Mirage is an optical illusion mix between a soccer cleat and an Oxford boot, adding a bit of height with foam spikes across the outsole, just like a football boot. The upper takes more inspiration from soccer bumps and bruises, but adds some subtle style with the Oxford motif.

Last but not least, the Shadow is a slip-on with Foamposite inspiration, taking the look of Nike’s classic 2000s basketball shoes into a new era with tight lines, sculpted angles, and bubbling accents.

“These shoes were truly made from scratch, with our designers gathering insights from around the world to create new art forms that speak to today’s female athlete,” says Thomasin Hummerstone, Senior Director, Energy Footwear. “Each silhouette is inspired by sport, infused with Nike-only energy, and crafted for women who want to push the boundaries of self-expression.”

The Nike First Sight collection will debut with the Noir, which will be released March 20, 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, retail on the Noir is set at $125. Mirage and Shadow will be released later this year, with retail prices set at $170 and $145, respectively.
