The Takashi Murakami Ohana Full-Bloom Meteorite and Star White Releases December 2024

In November, Takashi Murakami officially launched his independent footwear brand, Ohana Hatake. To celebrate, the Japanese pop artist dropped new colorways of his previously released Ohana Full-Bloom slide. Following up on this and the news that Murakami will be working with Louis Vuitton in 2025, Ohana Hatake is dropping a white and a black slide to cap off 2024.

The foam-based slip-on design retains its signature details, including the large Murakami flower design on the forefoot, with each pair keeping this monochromatic throughout. One pair, Meteorite, adds a stealthy, sleek, all-black look to the model for understated looks. On the other hand, Star White opts for a bright white color palette from top to bottom. Both pairs also feature a flower petal-inspired sidewall constructed from the same foam as the upper.

Takashi Murakami’s Ohana Hatake Full-Bloom in Meteorite and Star White will release on December 11, 2024, through Ohana Hatake’s website and via Kith online and in-store at Kith Manhattan and Tokyo. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
