A ton of stars were out last night in New York City for the US premiere of Christopher Nolan’s long-awaited cinematic epic, The Odyssey. On the black carpet outside of the Lincoln Square AMC, Travis Scott, who made a song for the film with James Blake and has a role in the story, rubbed shoulders with a who’s who of A-listers, so you know he had to come correct on the footwear.

Cactus Jack Gets Cinematic

Wearing a double-breasted black suit for the formal occasion, Scott debuted a new Cactus Jack Nike collab, wearing a dressed-up pair of Nike Moon Shoes with Scott’s trademark backward Swoosh. One of the first pre-Nike prototypes from the mid-1970s, the Moon Shoe has finally gotten its flowers over the past year, and the Travis collab is a perfect addition to the bouquet.

Featuring a weathered premium black leather base, the Travis Scott Moon Shoe adds rough black suede to the support patches on either side of the toe and heel. White stitching adds contrast across the upper, with detailed accents looping on the vamp for a hit of vintage flair on the collab. Lastly, dark burgundy Swooshes match the laces for a hit of bloody color.

Is the Travis Scott x Nike Moon Shoe Releasing?

There’s no word on whether the Travis Scott x Nike Moon Shoe collab is a one-off made just for Travis or if this is the first preview from an upcoming drop. Knowing Travis’ past collab work, though, we wouldn’t be surprised to see them on the release calendar soon.
