We’re entering the NBA Playoffs, the start of the WNBA season, and have only a few weeks of the MLB season under our belts, but we’re already looking forward to the start of football. That’s just how it goes in America, even with a variety of other sports in action, and a World Cup that will be played here in the States, football is always on our minds. Even a German sportswear brand like adidas is aware of this, and is about to drop a special Jeremy Scott cleat calling back to one of his most famous collaborations with The Three Stripes.
Scott first collaborated with adidas in 2003, and throughout the aughts, his wild, eccentric, and avant-garde takes on adidas sneakers would garner a cult following. One of the first projects the duo worked on was the Forum Money 1.0 sneaker, limited to 100 pairs and covered in faux $100 bill graphics. Nearly 20 years later, in 2021, adidas reissued the collab in both high and low-top Forums. The high-top was limited to just 1,200 pairs.
The Forum Low’s cleated rendition for the gridiron is now undergoing this money makeover. Identical to the 2021 low-top version, sans the cleated tooling on the outsole, the pair is covered in a textile that features embroidered dollar bill graphics. Instead of Washington, Jeremy Scott replaces the president in the center of the bill, and of course, it’s not a Jeremy Scott collab without wings. The famous wing overlay is added to the upper, though if that’s a bit too much for you, you can unlace the shoe and remove it.
The Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum Low Money Wings Cleat will be released April 18, 2026 through adidas online. A retail price has yet to be announced.
