The MLS is nowhere near as popular as the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL, but America’s homegrown pro soccer league has a small but rabid fanbase across the states. In cities across the U.S., supporters of every MLS team show up with chants, banners, and fresh gear just like their international counterparts. In celebration of the club’s 10th season on the pitch, FC Cincinnati linked up with local sneaker boutique Unheardof and adidas for an exclusive collab dedicated to the team, the fans, and the city.
The Unheardof x FC Cincinnati x adidas Forum Low removes the typical strap and elongates the tongue in a soccer shape. The shoe is covered in team colors, starting with bold orange across most of the upper, white on the toebox, and blue on the sockliner and midsole adidas logo. The Three Stripes are silver leather as a callout to the team’s Supporters' Shield trophy from 2023, and the heel is wrapped with a debossed 3M reflective imprint of the club’s motto “All For Cincy.”
“Being cut from my sixth-grade soccer team to now creating a shoe for our MLS soccer team, FC Cincinnati, shows that you can never give up on yourself, and that each failure is an opportunity to learn and get better,” said Philip Lipschutz, founder of Unheardof. “FC Cincinnati is more than a club to me. It’s a brand, a community, and a team leading the culture the right way! ALL FOR CINCY.”
The Unheardof x FC Cincinnati x adidas Forum Low was previewed on social media this week, but so far, there has been no release date or price announced for the triple collab colorway. To be the first to find out when these will hit shelves, make sure to download the Sole Retriever mobile app now.
