Anthony Edwards’ Latest adidas AE 2 Takes it Home to Atlanta in Georgia Red Clay

Anthony Edwards is on vacation after a disappointing second-round playoff exit, but with so many injuries plaguing Ant Man and his teammates, you can’t really blame them for the loss. As Edwards gets ready for next season, there’s a good chance he’s getting his R&R back in his home state of Georgia, but no matter where he’s taking his time off, adidas is always ready to rep the Peach State with AE’s signature sneaker line.

AE 1 Colors Return on the AE 2

The adidas AE 2 Georgia Red Clay follows an identical monochrome colorway of the adidas AE 1. The Georgia Red Clay colorway takes inspiration from the red clay that covers Edwards’ home state, with two shades of peachy red, a lighter version on the TPU toe and heel structure, and a richer shade on the vented accent panels and the rest of the mesh upper.

Edwards and adidas have brought out a number of matching colorways on the AE 2 and AE 1, keeping some of the same themes consistent in Edwards’ line, from his Georgia Bulldogs love to the tie-dye 3SSB PE. On the Georgia Red Clay AE 2, a hit of black is added to the AE tongue logo for a small bit of contrast.
