Pretty in Pink: adidas adds Pink and Black Combo to AE 2

Anthony Edwards is having another All-NBA season, and he’s doing it in his second signature sneaker, the adidas AE 2. Continuing the signature sneaker legacy that started with the overwhelming success of the AE 1 last year, Ant hasn’t let up on the trash-talking ads and bright colorways. The latest AE 2 is just as loud as its namesake, combining bubble gum pink with black and red for an eye-popping reminder to NBA defenders that you might need some Pepto after trying to stay in front of Ant.

The adidas AE 2 Lucid Pink covers most of the upper in bubble gum pink, except for hits of black on the toebox, heel, inner bootie, and the side panel vents. The tri-color blend is finished with deep red hits underneath the vents and on the AE tongue logo. The rest of the shoe is covered in pink, including the outsole underfoot.

Since debuting in October, adidas has previewed a steady drip of AE 2 colorways inspired by holidays like Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Easter, along with references to his college career and the iconic adidas archive. In an NBA signature sneaker space with more competition than ever, Edwards does as he always does, rising a bit higher than the competition.

The adidas AE 2 Lucid Pink will be released January 17, 2026 through adidas and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail prices are set at $130 (men), $100 (GS), and $80 (PS).
