Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers got a taste of the ol’ Parker Luck in their matchup against the New York Knicks. Despite heroic efforts, the Cavs’ resident wall crawler fell short in the Eastern Conference Finals. Though the team was swept, Mitchell’s sneakers had a great showing during the playoffs, introducing two colorways of the new adidas DON Issue 8 during the team’s stretch run. The initial pair of the adidas DON Issue 8 introduced during the Cavs’ matchup with the Detroit Pistons are webslinging their way onto store shelves soon, and now we get official images of the adidas DON Issue 8 Spida-Man ahead of their release.
The adidas DON Issue 8 Spida-Man features a black padded ankle collar with white eyelets. Trimming that collar is a line of red piping that leads into the structured midsection that features a blue TPU support cage with red inside the openings. The support structure is overlaid with a mesh gradient that shifts from blue to red and blue again. At the toe, red accents line the midsole, which also mimics the color-shifting aesthetic of the mesh upper.
The Lightstrike Pro midsole is broken up by the black trim of the midfoot shank, which is filled in by red. The gradient look even spills over onto the outsole, which features a splash of blue at the heel and red at the toe separated by the shank. Blue accents the inner bootie while a shock of red adds a pop to the tongue. Subtle hints of white appear on the eyelets and adidas branding on the heel to complete the look.
The adidas DON Issue 8 Spida-Man will be released June 2026 via adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Arriving in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $120 and $90, respectively.
