James Harden Adds Matte Purple Colorway to adidas Harden Vol. 10 Rollout

Hectic times just got a little more frazzled for the LA Clippers. After an off-season full of questions about a potential salary cap circumvention, the team’s slow start was thrown back into the headlines with more off-court drama after Chris Paul was sent home for reported conflicts with coaches and teammates in the middle of his retirement tour. For Clippers star James Harden, the team’s drama isn’t getting in the way of his new sneaker rollout, and the latest colorway is one of the cleanest yet.

Bringing a matte finish to the one-piece shell upper, the adidas Harden Vol. 10 Purple first popped up in early leaks from September. Now, with official images from the Three Stripes, we’ve got a better look at the purple and black rendition. The two-tone colorway adds the eggplant shade across the toe, rippling side panels, and outsole, transitioning to black for the inner bootie and laces. A bit of highlighter yellow is added on the vamp, the heel Three Stripes logo, and the outsole, but it is barely visible when looking at the shoe from the front.

After previewing the shoe over the summer during his annual trip to China with adidas, Harden officially debuted the Harden Vol. 10 on-court against the Lakers last week. In the days since, we’ve seen a flood of upcoming colorways and watched Steph Curry add the new silhouette to his rotation during sneaker free agency.
