Following a Toy Story 5 themed collection featuring adidas Sambas for Woody and Jessie, and the adidas Adistar Control 5 representing everyone’s favorite space ranger from Star Command, Buzz Lightyear, The Three Stripes is dropping a Care Bears themed colorway of the Adistar Control 5. The fuzzy, fun-loving bears are leaving The Kingdom of Caring and bringing their cozy, color-coded characters to collab on some kicks.
Care Bears x adidas Adistar Control 5 Details
Drawing from the 1981 cartoon’s cast of lovable bears, the Adistar Control 5 takes on a look inspired by the cutest angsty bear in all of Care-A-Lot, Grumpy Bear. The Y2K-inspired runner gets a cuddly soft plush upper like a teddy bear. The model gets a two-tone sky blue and white coloration to perfectly match Grumpy’s hue.
The silhouette’s soft build is enhanced with a series of TPU overlays that add structure to the silhouette, with the Three Stripes on the side panel adding a metallic finish. Grumpy Bear’s belly badge depicting a rainy cloud and his frowning face pop up on the silhouette’s tongue tag. Smiling yellow stars are affixed to the silhouette’s side and heel to add some happiness to the bothered bear. Care Bear branding on the heel completes the look.

The Care Bears x adidas Adistar Control 5 Grumpy Bear releases on July 1, 2026 via Asphalt Gold, with a wider release via adidas and select retailers online and in-store coming at a later date.
