Is Pharrell’s adidas Jellyfish the shoe of the year? The bulky dad shoe with molded TPU wings has been the talk of the industry since Williams debuted the model in January, and after an immediate sell-out on the debut colorway, the hype around previously previewed colorways is only building with the release of more official images.
The latest colorway of Skateboard P’s aquatic-inspired mesh runner is Solid Grey, a classic dad shoe mix of black, white, and grey. The colorway follows the same blocking as the orange, blue, and green colorways of the shoe, but trades the bright colors for a subdued grey on the TPU wing accents.

Despite its astronomical $300 retail price tag, the Jellyfish has benefited immensely from the Pharrell co-sign and the early roll-out, which saw Pharrell, Pusha T, and Malice all step out in early pairs. The solid grey pair was first seen earlier this year on Malice at Paris Fashion Week and has been gaining hype ever since.
