Don't think adidas is slowing down its 3D printing game anytime soon. The brand's Climacool silhouette has continued to appear in new makeups, both in the standard and laced versions. Next up is the Grey Black colorway of the Climacool Laced.
The German sportswear giant has been experimenting with 3D-printed kicks for almost a decade now. From the early Futurecraft 4D prototypes to the fully 3D-formed Climacool that debuted in 2024, the label has consistently pushed the boundaries of how sneakers are built.

Adam Cheung is a writer and editor who specialises in sneakers and streetwear. Over the past few years, he's curated features and guides for everyone from Burberry to Nike. Often travelling between the UK and Hong Kong, don't be too surprised if you find Adam anywhere else around the world taking street photography or feasting on the local delicacies.
The new Climacool Laced model carries that legacy forward. While last year’s version was a single-piece, slip-on construction made entirely from polyurethane, this sequel introduces a more traditional laced setup, with added structure through the tongue, eyestay, and midfoot for daily wearability.
Visually, this pair mirrors the recently revealed Glory Grey edition but trades the cooler tones for a warmer grey upper paired with a core black neoprene tongue. The sculpted lattice sole remains the hero, though – it's lightweight, breathable, and unbelievably comfortable.
The adidas Climacool Laced Grey Black is set to drop Holiday 2025 for $160, releasing via adidas and select retailers both online and in-store. The model comes in half sizes and runs slightly snug, so you’ll want to go up at least half a size for the best fit. If you’re thinking of grabbing a pair, make sure you download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
