Sneaker Politics may as well collab with the Louisiana tourism board, the way they’re bringing the Bayou State energy to the sneaker industry this spring. After teaming up with Reebok for a tribute to New Orleans Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, Louisiana’s favorite sneaker boutique is taking it to the shop’s OG location in Lafayette for a collaboration with adidas to celebrate the country’s largest international music festival, Festival International De Louisiane.
The Sneaker Politics x adidas LA Trainer OG Festival gives a new meaning to the LA Trainer name, taking it to downtown Lafayette for a purple suede colorway designed to match the energy of the global Festival. Every year, the Festival International brings out over 300,000 people to the 5-day event, which is headlined this year by Stephen Marley.
On the LA Trainer OG, Sneaker Politics adds a mix of purple suede and soft fabric across the entire upper, with pink Three Stripes branding, and a blue and gold tongue. The midsole is a weathered off-white tone with pink, purple, and blue circular branded hits at the lateral heel.
The Sneaker Politics x adidas LA Trainer OG Festival will be released through Sneaker Politics Lafayette on April 23, 2026 in the middle of the Festival, with a wider release to follow on April 27, 2026. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For all the latest Sneaker Politics collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
