Over at adidas, the German sportswear giant has been globetrotting, teaming up with various up-and-coming streetwear labels to dig into the extensive archives. At the forefront of this is Hellstar, the post-pandemic brand that exploded onto the scene with its graphic T-shirt designs and has since become a household name with multiple adidas footwear collabs. Following its adidas Superstar projects, two AE 2 colorways, a Megaride S2, and some cleat heat with the Adizero Electric II, they’re running back to the Megaride S2 for a classic black and red color scheme.
Hellstar x adidas Megaride S2 Black Red Details
Design motifs from the OG Hellstar x adidas Megaride S2 appear on this new black-and-red colorway, with a zipper shroud added to streamline the look. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hellstar collab without flame graphics incorporated somewhere, and that’s achieved through the TPU panel applied atop the black and grey gradient mesh base. Hellstar branding is placed on the lateral midfoot, right next to a zipper that features the brand’s emblem and below the patent leather tongue that also hosts the Hellstar logo.
As for the color palette, red hues are applied to the toe, which turns into a darker red and eventually into black as you move back toward the heel. More black is used on the patent leather collar and heel tab, as well as the sockliner. Final hits of Hellstar branding on the tag added to the heel and the dual logos on the insole. Down below sits a black and red midsole, featuring red foam in the forefoot and black Megaride tooling in the heel, and a semi-translucent rubber outsole.

The Hellstar x adidas Megaride S2 Black Red will be released October 10, 2026 through Hellstar, adidas, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
