Pro Skater Kader Sylla’s New adidas Superskate Colorway is Covered in Snake Skin

Kader Sylla is one of skateboarding’s most exciting young stars. The Supreme, adidas, and Violet-sponsored SoCal local is one of the most stylish rippers in the industry, making huge gaps and stair sets look pedestrian with his nonchalant approach. Kader is bringing that endless style to his latest adidas collab, covering the Superskate with a luxurious mix of black suede and snake skin.

The Kader Sylla x adidas Superskate starts with a thick, rough black suede on the toe and support panels, where most of the griptape damage hits skate shoes, and a smooth black nubuck on the toebox and side panel. The luxury accents come on the Three Stripes and heel tab with oil-spill colored snakeskin print giving the shoe scales. Kader’s name is written in gold above the lateral side Stripes, and the tongue label is outlined in gold print as well, plus Kader’s signature across the middle of the insole for even more of a personalized touch.

Kader officially signed with adidas in 2021 before his 20th birthday after brief flirtations with Nike SB and Vans, and he’s designed a handful of signature colorways since. In addition to the new mid-top Superskate, Kader added his aesthetic to two Superstar ADV colorways and a Samba ADV, reimagining the skate-ready versions of the classic Three Stripes silhouettes.
