Cities with competing sports teams make local fans pick a side. In Manchester, England, the soccer allegiances are split between Manchester United and Manchester City, and those rivalries run deep. That doesn’t matter to adidas, though, who brought together the two team colors, red and blue, for the original adidas Manchester in 2002. Now, to celebrate the return of the adidas City Series with local retailer size?, the Three Stripes is flipping the colorway for a return to Warehouse City.
Reversing the blue suede with red accents from 2002, the size? x adidas City Series Manchester starts with an upper of plush red suede on the toe, lace panel, and heel, with red nylon in between and baby blue accents on the side panel Three Stripes, heel tab, and tongue logo. Manchester branding is added above the Three Stripes in gold, and a black midsole underneath rounds out the colorway.
