The Three Stripes has spent decades creating classic silhouettes that have stood the test of time, from the Samba to the Spezial and everywhere in between. But no matter how long the brand lives on, adidas will always be best known for two shoes: the Superstar and the Stan Smith. Made for the basketball and tennis courts, respectively, the models have lived on for decades as lifestyle classics. For its latest collab, Tokyo-based sneaker boutique V.A. is taking on the rarely seen mash-up of the two.
Continuing adidas’ 2026 Superstar push, the V.A. x adidas Superstan Black White keeps the shell toe up front and the Superstar sole underfoot, but volleys the rest of the upper over to the Stan Smith, for a sleek, patent leather upper with minimal perforated branding on the Three Stripes side panel logos.

Keeping it clean in white and black, the Superstar portions of the shoe on the toe and midsole are both crisp white, while the Stan Smith aspects are done in shiny black patent leather. The tongue adds a classic Stan Smith portrait logo, while a SUPERSTAN tag is added between the perforated Stripes on the lateral sides.
The V.A. x adidas Superstan Black White will be released April 11, 2026 through V.A. in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is still TBD. For all the latest adidas collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
